An ad-hoc exhibition curated by Joachim Cossais, Espen Lomsdalen and Maria Sundby with works of several Norwegian artists opens on Fri April 5th at 19.00 on the premises of the former GAD Gallery (next to the Munch Museum) in Oslo. Mattias Härenstam takes part with one of the wood-cut prints, Down there.
The show stays up until Sun April 14.
The Spring Exhibition (‘Forårsudstillingen’) at Kunsthal Charlottenborg has been held annually in Copenhagen since 1857. It originated as an exhibition showing new works by Danish artists and now features participants from many countries. This years jury - featuring Louise Campbell (1970, DK), designer; Phil Collins (1970, UK), artist; Markus Degerman (1972, SE), designer and architect; Marie Kølbæk Iversen (1981, DK), artist and Kati T. Kivinen (1975, FI), curator - has included Reconstruction by Mattias Härenstam in the selection.
The show opens on February 28th and stays up until May 12th

Under the umbrella of IKFU, International Konst Film Utställning, curator Tim Reed has created an exhibition titled Portrait in the moving image. The show, including Portrait of a man reminiscent of my father by Mattias Härenstam opens on Friday 8th of March at Jönköping Läns Museum in Sweden. It will be up until 7th April.

Videoart.net is pleased to announce the third annual Video Art & Experimental Film Festival (VAEFF 2013), which will take place February 7-9, 2013 at the iconic Tribeca Cinemas in New York City. The three-day festival aims to introduce New York audiences to the most arresting, provocative and conceptually challenging works in time-based media today. Drawing from hundreds of submissions, the festival will feature a diverse array of films by video artists and experimental filmmakers from around the world, including Mattias Härenstam's Closed Circuit (In the middle of Sweden).

Reconstruction by Mattias Härenstam has been selected for Göteborg International Film Festival. The festival opens on Fri January 25th and goes on until February 4th. Reconstruction is part of a program called Svenska Bilder 4 and will be screened at Hagabion Sat Jan 26th 19.30, Biopalatset Tue Jan 29th 10.30 and Fri Feb 1st at 15.30.
